"Dr. Waled AlShhrani is a consultant and the Chairman of the Department of Prosthetic Dental Sciences at King Saud University’s College of Dentistry. He also serves as the Head of the Scientific Committee at the Saudi Prosthodontics Society. With a distinguished academic journey, he has previously been a faculty member at both the University of Michigan and Marquette University in the United States. Dr. AlShhrani holds a master’s degree and advanced clinical training in prosthetic dentistry and dental implants from the University of Michigan, USA. He also earned a PhD from the University of British Columbia and is certified by the American Board in Dental Sleep Medicine, specializing in the treatment of sleep apnea. His expertise spans all aspects of prosthetic dentistry, with a particular focus on digital dentistry and the integration of artificial intelligence in dental practice. Passionate about advancing dental education, Dr. AlShhrani is dedicated to developing innovative AI applications to enhance learning and improve oral healthcare services in the Kingdom. Through his leadership, he continues to drive academic excellence and elevate the standards of prosthetic and digital dentistry."
