About the Society

The Saudi Prosthodontic Society is a scientific healthcare organization that contributes to supporting and advancing healthcare services in all aspects related to prosthodontics in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Its membership encompasses all specialties directly associated with prosthodontics, including fixed and removable dental prostheses, dental implants, esthetic and maxillofacial prosthetics.

The society was established by a decision of the Board of Trustees at the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties based on a proposal from the Executive Council for Health Societies on the 10th of Muharram 1441 (corresponding to September 9, 2019). Its headquarters are located in Riyadh.

The society transitioned under the umbrella of the National Center for the Development of the Non- Profit Sector on the 14th of Ramadan 1444 (corresponding to April 5, 2023) and continues to operate under its supervision to this date.

Our Mission

To promote the advancement of the discipline of prosthodontics by integrating the generalist, specialist and dental laboratory technologist in a manner that will continuously seek improvement of patient treatment. We will accomplish this through education and research.

Our Vision

To become a leading global medical association in the field of prosthodontics with high-quality and distinguished standards.
To address the needs and interests of prosthodontic specialists in Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries.
To raise public awareness of the prosthodontics specialty.

Our Goals

Develop scientific and professional thinking and enhance the academic and professional performance of the association’s members.
Provide opportunities for professionals in the field of prosthodontics and related areas to contribute to scientific and professional advancement.
Facilitate the exchange of scientific knowledge and professional ideas in areas of interest to the association among relevant institutions and organizations, both domestically and internationally, as well as with other scientific associations.
Offer consultations and conduct studies to enhance performance levels in the fields of the association’s interest within various institutions and organizations.
Contribute to setting professional practice standards in the field of prosthodontics and participate in monitoring and maintaining these standards.
Help raise public health awareness.
